Muhammad Mokaev currently fights in the flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). In addition, he has fought alongside the Brave Fighting Federation (BCF). He is now ranked #12 in the UFC Flyweight Rankings and has established a solid reputation for himself in the sport.

Muhammad Mokaev got married to 29 year old Khava Eldarbekova in Turkey in September of last year. The pair had been living in Bahrain at the time, with Muhammad focusing on getting ready for his fight and Khava working as a doctor.
Mokaev is a refugee, who came to Britain with his family in 2012 after fleeing political persecution in Dagestan, Russia, married Khava by Islamic marriage in October 2020.
Russia, is Khava’s home country and Bahrain is where she currently lives.
Despite all the difficulties, they remained by each other’s sides. The six-time British wrestling champion even claimed that his performance in the 2021 contests was being impacted by his wife’s problems. The fighter intends to retire early and focus on other endeavours. They do not have a child. His desire for family time and his strong religious convictions are the reasons behind his choice to have a limited combat career.
They filed an appeal in February 2021 for a visa to travel to the UK to see Mokaev’s father. But the visa was refused, so they applied again, this time for a shorter-term one, which the Home Office also rejected because the authorities had reason to suspect that she might not be able to leave the country due to £4,884 in her account.
