After Patel made a comment on the Hajipur elections that was taken to be disparaging of Hindu sentiment, trouble broke out.
Pratik Patel was born in Masaurhi, Bihar and is currently residing in Patna. He lists himself as “Youth President of All India Backward Class Federation, Bihar” and “Soldier of Tejashwi Yadav.”
Patel, who is well-known for his political remarks on social media, tweeted about the recent elections in Hajipur. He claims it was only political, but other people see it as anti-Hindu, which starts a heated debate on the internet.
Patel’s post has angered many people because they believe it is derogatory to Hindu gods and goddesses. They’re calling for his arrest and citing a religious infraction, all while using the hashtag “Shame on Bihar Police”.

People that agree with Patel are using the slogan “We Stand with Pratik Patel” to express their support. They accuse Patel’s assailants of unjust censorship and maintain that his tweet was political and not intended to offend.
Pratik Patel tweeted on the elections in Hajipur. Even though he claims it was only a political remark, some have labelled him as anti-Hindu. There’s been a lot of debate about this online.
Patel has discussed the circumstances in public. He said, “Some hate-filled people are pressuring the Bihar Police to take action against me, but my tweet on the Hajipur elections didn’t offend anyone’s religious sentiments. Voices in my support are coming from all over the country. I’m thankful to all of you.”

Under pressure from all directions, the Bihar Police are in a difficult situation. While one side wants them to arrest Patel for making hurtful remarks, another wants them to uphold free speech and refrain from acting unjustly. The decision has not been made public by the police. They must be just and abide by the law.
