Fayaz Ansari passes away
Fayaz Ansari was the personal make-up artists of former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, who recently passed away on Friday, June 21. Ansari was accompanying Pathan at the ongoing T20 World Cup, where Pathan was working as a commentator at the time of his death. Following the tragic incident, Ansari’s cousin Mohammad Ahmed, revealed that Irfan Pathan himself is handling all the formalities in the West Indies to bring back Ansari’s body to India. Once the body arrives the family plans to receive it in Delhi, and perform the funeral rites.
Cause of death
According to reports, Fayaz passed away after drowning in a hotel swimming pool while bathing, in the West Indies.

Fayaz Ansari is a makeup artist from Nagina in Bijnor who recently passed away. He was based in Mumbai after moving there from Mohalla Qazi Sarai in Nagina Tehsil, Bijnor to start his own salon about 22 years ago. Around the same time, Pathan started visiting his salon for makeup and the former all-rounder eventually hired Ansari as his personal makeup artist. Alongside appointing him as his personal makeup artists, Pathan also took him along on all his international trips.
While his DOB isn’t known, Fayaz was believed to be between 40-50 years.
Wife and marriage
Ansari’s cousin brother Mohammad Ahmed shared how Ansari had just married just two months ago. He had recently travelled to Mumbai from Nagina, Bijnor just eight days prior. Unsurprisingly, the tragic and sudden accident has set his family and his newly wedded wife and relatives in anguish.
