According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany, formal talks over Joshua Zirkzee’s summer transfer to Manchester United have been initiated by the Dutchman’s agent, Kia Joorabchian.
Milan has already informed Bologna that they are willing to trigger Zirkzee’s €40 million release clause. But they are unable to come to terms with Joorabchian who first demanded an astounding €15 million in commission.

Kiavash Joorabchian is an Iranian-British businessman who was born on July 14, 1971, in Tehran, Iran and has citizenship of Iran, Britain and Canada.
Joorabchian’s association with football began in Brazil in 2004 when he partnered with the legendary Corinthians and where his first major signing was made. Many more have followed since then involving hundreds of millions in transfer fees but his net worth isn’t known.
He is an Arsenal fan and the owner of Sports Invest agency.
Kia Joorabchian’s education and career
Joorabchian received his education first at a school in Golders Green, north London, and later at Shiplake College in Oxfordshire.
Kia completed his education in Britain. He continued to Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, where he studied chemistry and business studies before leaving after his second year.
Kia Joorabchian clients have included Carlos Tevez, Javier Mascherano, David Luiz, Willian, Douglas Luiz, Kurt Zouma and Philippe Coutinho.

Coutinho nearly forced a move in August but gets his dream transfer now after Liverpool’s stance on making him stay at Anfield eased. Once completed Joorabchian will have overseen the world’s second richest transfer, beaten only by PSG’s signing of Neymar last summer.
Although Joorabchian is often mentioned as a football agent in the media, he is not a certified agent though.
Unregistered agents are prohibited from participating in any transactions in the English Premier League by the Football Association.
“I think the agency business is very different,” said Joorabchian, who does not identify himself as an agent. He defines his line of work as providing teams and players with advice on contracts and moves.
Joorabchian, who describes himself as an investment manager, is also involved in “third parties” ownership of players.
It was stated in 2009 that the unidentified investors Joorabchian represented were thought to be the owners of the economic rights to roughly sixty to seventy players throughout South America and Europe.
He was an Arsenal supporter from a young age and later ran a corporate box at Emirates Stadium.
Kia Joorabchian’s family and wife
Kia Joorabchian is the son of Iranian car dealer businessman Mohammed Joorabchian. According to Joorabchian, his father’s uncle used to oversee the biggest car company in the Middle East.
The Joorabchian family left Iran after the Shah fell in 1979. They went to Canada and then the United Kingdom before returning to England when Joorabchian was six years old.
He is married to Tatiana Alonso, a Brazilian lawyer.
