The Incident took place during a thrilling game between Turkey and vs USA where the former beat the latter 3-2 in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League.

The viral footage shows one woman inadvertently exposing herself while she was jumping up and down after witnessing Turkey’s triumph over the USA.

The unfortunate Incident was shown in slow motion on the live broadcast, which led fans to show their fury over the media outlet. Many took to X/Twitter to condemn the actions of the Turkish TV channel.

Following a huge backlash, the Turkish TV channel issued an apology statement for the live coverage of the woman’ unfortunate moment.

One such furious user took to X/Twitter and penned, “They should apologize to the real woman, why did they do it?.” Another one joined in, “She’s happy leave her alone.”

In addition, the channel insisted that the host American broadcaster was to blame for the “unwanted image.”

What Did the Channel Say?

For the curious, the statement of the Turkish TV channel reads, “This image, which is completely contrary to our publication policy, originates from the US broadcaster, and the discomfort caused by this situation has been communicated to them.”

A press release from the media outlet the following day reiterated, “We want the public to know that the filming and direction of the match were handled by the US broadcaster.

“Therefore, this image, which is entirely against our publication policy, comes from the US broadcaster, and we have expressed our discomfort regarding this situation to them. TRT, as Turkey’s public broadcaster, remains a strong supporter of Turkish sports.”

In another update, the Turkish media reported that the woman faced online threats and insults, leading her to close her social media accounts.
