For the Kabaddi enthusiasts we have a piece of good news as the Top Kabaddi players are all set to gather in Noida, Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League 2024.
Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) 2024 schedule, auction format, teams list and live streaming telecast where to watch
The first season of the UPKL is scheduled to be conducted in partnership with the UP Kabaddi Association. The competition, which will showcase eight skilled teams, is scheduled to take place between July 11 and July 25.
For the unversed, every game of the competition will take place at the Noida Indoor Stadium. As per media reports, before the game commenced on July 11, an auction will be held on June 10.

This announcement was made by a joint press conference that held at the Fortune hotel Noida, sector 27.
The announcement was made by the founder of UPKL Sambhav Jain along with Vinay Kumar Singh, who’s widely known for his role as the Joint Secretary of AKFI and a member of UP Kabaddi Association.
UPKL 2024 Schedule & Teams
Although the UPKL schedule is not yet known, 59 matches will take place during the first season within a 15-day period. When it comes to the player’s auction, it will follow the same format as the Indian Premier League and Pro Kabaddi League auctions.
For the curious, each team of UPKL is set to receive a sum of Rs. 12 Lakh along with a panel of 3 Senior Indian players. The teams of the UPKL 2024 includes:
Yamuna Warriors,
Noida Ninjas,
Kashi Kings,
Awadh Ramdoot,
Brij Stars,
Sangam Challengers,
Ayodhya Warriors, and
Ganga Kings of Mirzapur.
Each teams will have a total of 15 members, which means a total of 120 participants from the different areas of Uttar Pradesh.

UPKL has collaborated with Sony Sports Network as its official national broadcasting partner, allowing fans to watch live tournament action from the comfort of their homes.
So, Kabaddi enthusiasts can head towards the official channel of Sony Sports 3 to enjoy the UPKL 2024 matches.
Around 350-400 players will be put up for auction in the mega event. The UPKL Trophy Tour 2024, organized by the same group, will showcase the trophy in over 20 key cities of Uttar Pradesh such as Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Jhansi, Agra, Mathura, and Noida.
