T20 World Cup Super Over rule explored
The Super Over rule comes into play when the scores are tied after a regular game. It begins just ten minutes after the end of the second innings. During the Super Over, the team that batted second during the regular game will get the chance to bat first. Meanwhile, the bowling team will select the end from where the rule starts.
Each team will get to choose just three batsmen, and if the bowling team manages to dismiss two of them at any point during the Super Over, the innings gets over. In the event of a tie, the two teams will play a second Super Over. Interestingly, teams will have to play an unlimited number of such Super Overs until the winner is determined.
