She played volleyball in high school and intended to play at the University of Tennessee. However, things got changed when she got pregnant with Tatum.
She was also one of the top five students in her graduating class and the senior class president and rather than going away for school, she decided to go to college locally in St. Louis to earn a degree in political science and communications, working part-time jobs on the side to help pay for school and daycare.
She attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis with unwavering determination, often brings her young son along for the ride.
Brandy holds several degrees, including a law degree, which she earned in 2010she was in law school, Jayson would often be by her side and would flip through some of her textbooks as she studied.
