Recently, improved relations between Tuchel and Bayern sparked discussions to reconsider the decision. However, after negotiations fell through, Bayern shifted their focus to Kompany.

However, Bayern must still negotiate a fee with Burnley to buy out the Belgian’s contract with the recently relegated Premier League club.

How Much Bayern Munich Will Pay?

Burnley is demanding €20 million, while Bayern is only willing to pay €10 million. A compensation package of around €15 million is expected to be agreed upon soon.

Meanwhile, what are the contractual details that Bayern and Kompany have settled on?
Bayern Munich reportedly believe that Vincent Kompany is interested in joining the club if they can reach an agreement with Burnley.

While a deal has not yet been finalized, Bayern is open to allowing members of Kompany’s backroom staff, including former Wales forward Craig Bellamy, to accompany him to Munich.

Who Else is Set to Join Bayern with Kompany?

Since Kompany is under contract with Burnley until 2028, the club will be entitled to compensation. According to reports, Vincent Kompany is set to bring in Floribert Ngalula as assistant coach and Bram Geers as athletic coach.

René Maric will also join the team as an assistant coach. The only remaining step is finalizing the agreement with Burnley.

Vincent Kompany’s Contract Details

According to media reports, Bayern does not view Kompany as a short-term fix, ruling out a one-year contract. Instead, the club is poised to offer the former Manchester City defender a three-year deal, keeping him at the Allianz Arena until 2027. While his salary at the club isn’t known yet, Kompany was paid 2 million pounds. He has a net worth of $45 million.

After being turned down by several head coaches, such as Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, and Oliver Glasner, there was speculation that Bayern was seeking a temporary solution to approach Alonso or Jürgen Klopp next summer.

However, Kompany has been a target for Max Eberl from the start. The long-term contract being offered to the Belgian reflects Bayern’s intention to build something substantial with Kompany at the helm.
