Jamal Musiala was born to a German mother Caroline Musiala and Nigerian father Daniel Richard on February 26, 2003 in Stuttgart, Germany in a Muslim family. He grew up in the German state of Hesse in the city of Fulda. His family relocated to England when he was seven years old.
His father moved to Stuttgart, Germany, after being born and raised in England. He is of British and Nigerian origin while on the other hand, despite also having Polish and English ancestors, his mother is German.
