A popular Bhojpuri actress Annapurna, professionally known as Amrita Pandey, was found dead at her residence in the Bhagalpur district of Bihar, leaving behind her family and husband Chandramani Jhangad
According to a Senior police official, the actress was discovered dead at Divyadharma Apartment in the Adampur Ship Ghat area on April 27th, raising suspicions about the cause of her death.

Authorities suspect that the 27-year-old actress may have taken her own life, as she had posted a cryptic message on her WhatsApp status just hours before her death.
The cryptic message that she had posted reads, โDo naav mein sawar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya.โ However, as of now there isnโt any suicide note found at the scene.
The actress, who usually lived In Mumbai, had come to Bhagalpur to attend her sisterโs wedding on April 18th. A local police officer, speaking anonymously to the media, reported that Amritaโs sister discovered her hanging in her room at 3:30 p.m. on April 27th.

Who is Amrita Pandeyโs Husband?
She was then rushed to the nearest hospital, where she was declared dead. Amrita is survived by her husband, Chandramani Jhangad, who works as an animation engineer.
As per media reports, Amrita was accompanied by her husband at her residence in Bhagalpur as the couple went to attend the actressโ sisterโs wedding, however, her husband Jhangad returned to Mumbai while the actress chose to stay in Bihar with her family.
The actor’s family said that she was depressed and stressed about not finding enough work and she lived in Mumbai with her husband Chandramani. Nothing else is known about him.
In a statement to the media on Tuesday, Anand Kumar, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Bhagalpur, announced that the police had launched an inquiry into Amritaโs death.
โWe have collected all the scientific evidence from the scene, and itโs been sent for forensic analysis. The investigation is being conducted in a very methodical manner under the supervision of a senior district police officer.
โWe are also interviewing the victimโs family members,โ he said. He further revealed that the exact cause of death would only be determined after the inquiry is complete.
For the unfamiliar, Amrita had appeared in several Bhojpuri films, including โDeewanapan,โ where she co-starred with Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal Yadav. She also acted in various Hindi films, TV and Web series including Parishodh.
