At 22 years old, Summerville showcased his talent by scoring 17 league goals and providing eight assists for Leeds. His performance played a pivotal role in Leeds’ successful season, where they trailed Leicester by only one point. Notably, he emerged victorious over Blackburn’s Sammie Szmodics, who topped the Championship’s scoring charts with 24 goals, and Leicester’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to clinch the award.
