Anuj Rawat is an Indian cricketer. He has been in the news because he made a crucial 48 runs against the CSK, helping Royal Challengers Bangalore to a 173-run target.
He was born on 17 October 1999 in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, India. His father’s name is Virendra Pal Singh; however, his mother’s name is not known. Anuj also has a brother named Prashant Rawat.
Anuj Rawat did his schooling at Bal Bhavan International School. Later, he went on to join the University of Delhi. He is unmarried and single.
His height is 1.73 meters or 5 feet 8 inches. He is currently 24 years old.
His career
On October 6, 2017, Anuj Rawat made his debut appearance for Delhi’s first-class cricket squad in the 2017โ18 Ranji Trophy. Transitioning to the shorter format, he made his Twenty20 debut for Delhi in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the 2018โ19 season on February 21, 2019.
He continued his cricket career by joining Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy’s List A for the 2019โ20 season, making his debut on October 4. His skills were noticed in the glitzy Indian Premier League (IPL) when the Rajasthan Royals signed him at the 2020 IPL auction for the following season.
