2024 Celebrity Cricket League final Karnataka Bulldozers vs Bengal Tigers winner, result, score, & top performers
At the Greenfield International Cricket Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, the tenth season of CCL concluded on Sunday. In the championship game, Bengal Tigers, led by captain Jisshu Sengupta, chose to bat first upon winning the toss, aiming to establish a competitive target. They achieved a score of 118 runs for the loss of four wickets in their initial innings.
In response, Karnataka Bulldozers faced difficulties against Bengal Heroes’ bowlers, only managing to score 86 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 10 overs, thereby granting Bengal Tigers a 32-run lead. In their second innings, Bengal Tigers added 105 runs for the loss of four wickets, setting a target of 138 runs for Karnataka Bulldozers. Despite their efforts, Kiccha Sudeep’s team couldn’t meet the target, thus missing out on their opportunity to secure their third CCL title.
Reports hint that the total prize pool could range between Rs.1 and 2 crore rupees for the winner but the official amount hasn’t been revealed yet.
