31-year-old Yaduveer was born on 24 March 1992 in Bangaluru India to Pramoda Devi Wadiyar and Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar. His paternal great-grandfather was Kanteerava Narasimharaja Wadiyar, adding to his illustrious lineage. He grew up surrounded by royal traditions and values, instilled by his grandparents Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar and Tripura Sundari Ammani.

On 27 June 2016, over a year after his appointment, Yaduveer Wadiyar married Trishikha Kumari Devi, daughter of Harshvardhan Singh and Maheshree Kumari.

With aunts including Kamakshi Devi Avaru and Vishalakshi Devi Avaru, Yaduveer was immersed in a world of cultural heritage and aristocracy from an early age. Following Hindu customs and family traditions, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja was adopted by his great-aunt, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, after consultations with family members and spiritual leaders. In 2015, he was anointed as the 27th head of the Wadiyar dynasty in a ceremony that marked the continuation of an ancient legacy.

Since assuming his role as the head of the Wadiyar dynasty, Yaduveer has been actively involved in preserving cultural heritage and promoting the rich traditions of Mysore.
