Nick Sheridan was a radio and television presenter for BBC Scotland who passed away very early at just 32. He was originally from Wexford, Ireland and had over ten years of experience in the broadcast industry.

Nick left his full-time staff job to pursue freelancing so that he could concentrate on authoring children’s books before he passed away. However, he kept up his work as a freelance news presenter for BBC Scotland’s TV and radio shows.
Sheridan discovered a love for writing children’s books, and in 2021 he revealed that he had inked a four-book contract with Simon and Schuster. With its vibrant visuals and engaging activities, he wrote Breaking News to assist kids in sifting through false information seen in today’s media.
