Namibian cricketer Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton was born on March 15, 2001 in Windhoek, Namibia. He is currently 22 years old. He studied at Paul Roos Gimnasium.

A look at Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton’s career so far

On February 8, 2018, he made his debut in the 2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup for Namibia. He was included in Namibia’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018 squad before. On February 11, 2018, he made his List A debut for Namibia in the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge for the 2017–18 season.

He was added to Namibia’s 2018 Africa T20 Cup team in August of that year. He was one of the 25 cricketers selected for Cricket Namibia’s Elite Men’s Squad in June 2019 in anticipation of the 2019–20 international season.

He was included in Namibia’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Uganda in March 2021. On April 3, 2021, against Uganda, he played his first Twenty20 international match. He was added to Namibia’s 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup team in September of that year.

He was selected for the Namibia Tri-Nation Series 2021 One Day International (ODI) team in November 2021. On November 27, 2021, he made his debut for Namibia in an ODI match against Oman. Adding another milestone into his career, he achieved the fastest century in men’s T20Is on February 27, 2024, with 33 deliveries faced.
