The film was supposed to release on January 28th across the world but the release was postponed due to the rising cases of new covid variant Omicron across the world.

The makers pushed the film’s release to April 1st, 2022. This means that Morbius will not be the first superhero film to entertain movie lovers in 2022 as Robert Pattinson’s The Batman is slated for release on 4th March. The film has Jared Leto as Dr. Michael Morbius and is directed by Daniel Espinosa. Morbius trailer increased immense interest among movie lovers with the makers releasing the trailer with the caption ‘“The line Between Hero and Villian Will be Broken.”
The trailer got 1 crore plus views with 2.6 lakh likes in just ten days of its release.

D., M.D., better known as Morbius is an anti-heroic antagonist from Marvel Comics, serving as an enemy to Spider-Man, Blade, and Ghost Rider. He was a biogenetic scientist who was dying of a blood-destroying disease. In Morbius, the superhero becomes a vampire after attempting to cure himself of a rare blood disease.
