Comedian Paul Currie who is a Christian by religion gained attention for an incident involving a Jewish audience member at his central London show
According to media reports, on Saturday, February 10, Currie reportedly displayed a Ukrainian and Palestinian flag, encouraging the audience to request the Jewish attendee to exit the performance.

Audience’s Joined Currie & Yelled “Free Palestine”
Witnesses claim that Currie explicitly told the man to leave the show, vehemently expressing, “Leave my f*cking show now.” As per reports, amidst ongoing yelling, numerous audience members purportedly joined the comedian, echoing chants of “Free Palestine” and “Get out.”

The incident swiftly circulated on social media, drawing criticism towards the comedian for engaging in what was perceived as an anti-Semitic act.
The Campaign Against Antisemitism also weighed in on the matter, denouncing the act and releasing a statement which stated, “The reported actions described by Jewish audience members are appalling, and we are collaborating with them and our legal representatives to ensure accountability for those who initiated and supported such behavior. These allegations involve deeply troubling discriminatory abuse against Jews.”
The statement further continued, “While comedians typically enjoy considerable creative freedom, the act of driving Jews out of theaters harkens back to humanity’s darkest periods and has no place in central London in 2024.”
