In episode 6, it was revealed that the killer was the old woman Myung Hee. The lady did not want her child to experience the same mistreatment now. She thus kept in the background and eliminated any danger for him and his inheritance rights. One such risk was Jae-Seok, e he wished the burial area to be leased. Following on, Yeong-ho’s parents were seen in a picture that private investigator Kang discovered. if this had been displayed, it might have exposed the secret. That meant Myung-hee had also killed the man along with Jae Seok.

The Korean series The Bequeathed had a satisfactory ending as Seo Ha and Young-Ho manage to live and the murderer ends up killing herself. She dies after she realizes the cops are pursuing her, but The property manager tries to burn the half-siblings alive. To arrest the mom, the police and detectives show up at the same spot.

However, she gives her kid a heartbreaking farewell before escaping into a burning house. Seo-Ha is an art teacher who lives in a remote area distant from the city. Instead of selling the burial property, she sets her family’s tombstones there. Choi eventually decides to officially retire from the force. He meets his son after his resignation and reconciles with him in the final episode.

Will there be a season of the Korean drama The Bequeathed?
Sadly, there will be no season 2 of the series The Bequeathed as the show ended on a satisfying note. Furthermore, the creator and Netflix have not made any official announcement or hint regarding the renewal of the drama The Bequeathed.
