Islamists claimed Mohamed Salah had committed haram by celebrating Christmas, something they claim is not allowed in the religion of Islam
At a time when Islamists are ready to play the victim at the drop of a hat, citing widespread Islamophobia to guise the atrocities committed by a section of their society, there has been a deafening silence over the incredible venom spewed against Mohamed Salah.
It is worth nothing that no Christian or Hindu has been subjected to vitriol for wishing Islamists on their festivals.
Islamists Slander Mohamed Salah For Celebrating Christmas And Send Him Death Threats
Having become a regular feature now, Salah is every year belittled by Islamists after he posts pictures of himself and his family celebrating Christmas. According to extremists, it is haram for a Muslim to celebrate any festival barring those in Islam with Salah receiving horrific abuse on social media platforms this year as well after he posed infront of a tree alongside his family to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Salah thought his bad form after Christmas last year was purely coincidental. The truth is Allah is always watching. You cannot escape celebrating Christmas for he is all seeing. pic.twitter.com/ivOUk2Gzoq

This idea that it’s a matter of culture when the idea of Christmas itself and the origin goes against the fundamentals of Islam. It’s not an extremist view to say someone shouldn’t celebrate something that undermines their own religion.

His comment section was fraught with vile comments and death threats with people even claiming he had gone onto miss the penalty against Leicester City on Tuesday owing to his celebrations. According to a raft of people, Salah’s penalty miss was punishment for him in regaling in a Christian festival.
Meanwhile, there has been no notable personality from the sporting arena who has come to Salah’s aide unlike the brouhaha which erupts when Islamists claim they are being targeted. The likes of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli who was way too zealous to jump the gun and besmirch India over alleged abuse of Mohammed Shami has conveniently chosen to stay mum over the entire Salah issue.
Salah meanwhile saw an incredible run of successful penalties come to an end when Liverpool travelled to the King Power Stadium with his miss seeing Liverpool lose 1-0 on the night.
