After the Lakers victory, Hollywood actress Emma Stone waved goodbye to Grayson Allen, which clearly startled the Suns players.

It appears that Grayson Allen has high-ranking friends.

Hollywood star Emma Stone attended Thursday night’s Los Angeles Lakers vs. Phoenix Suns home game. The Phoenix native, who won an Academy Award, was sporting a black cap bearing the ‘PHX’ insignia while the visitors defeated the home team 127-109.

With more than three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Suns decided to rest several starters, making the game a one-sided contest. With her team leading by 22 points, Stone had had enough and departed Crypto.com Arena before the final buzzer, but not before “waving goodbye” to Grayson Allen. In a viral video, the Superbad actress could be seen saying goodbye to the former Bucks player and getting up from her seat.

“Is Emma Stone bidding Grayson Allen farewell? We didn’t know about your game,” an X account commented. A fan said, “Not bad, Grayson, not bad.” Another said, “Kid always had that game.”

Some fans, however, dampened Allen’s moment in the spotlight by claiming that Stone was bidding farewell to teammate Devin Booker, who was seated behind him. Someone said, “It was Book bro…sitting right next to Allen.”

Allen has been thriving for the Suns.

Even though Allen only had five points, five rebounds, and three assists in the rout of the Lakers, he has been among Phoenix’s most reliable players this year. The 28-year-old’s 1069 minutes were only second behind Kevin Durant (1110) going into Thursday night’s game, and he has started 32 games, only three fewer than Jusuf Nurkic (35).

Only Durant (47.4%) and Milwaukee guard Malik Beasley (47.7%) had higher three-point percentages in the league than him (47.2%). With an average of 13.2 points per game this season, Allen has been a reliable, if unspectacular, scoring option for the Suns in the absence of Phoenix’s All-Star trio of Durant, Booker, and Bradley Beal, who have all been on the court together at various points this year.

Phoenix ended a two-game losing streak and moved to 20-18 on the season with the victory over LA, good enough for the eighth seed in the Western Conference. Their next game is against the Trailblazers on Sunday in Portland.
