Who is Kevin Wentz ex-husband of Kimberlee Singler who murdered her two children in Colorado Springs
Looks like Kimberlee Singler killed her children so she would not have to relinquish custody to their father. That is particularly evil and heinous. I hope they catch her soon. Authorities believe she has likely fled the Colorado Springs area. @NBCNews @KOAA pic.twitter.com/1mTizJR9Fa

I don’t know how she could kill her own babies. Any kind of woman that could do that definitely belongs in prison. Kimberlee Singler is still on the run. Aden Wentz (7) and Elianna ‘Ellie’ Wentz (9) deserve justice. 😔 #coloradosprings #manhunt pic.twitter.com/MKNHBSZUp4

The victims were Identified as 7-year-old Aden Wentz and 9-year-old Elianna “Ellie” Wentz by their father, Kevin Wentz.
An ongoing and acrimonious divorce and custody dispute had plagued the relationship between Kevin Wentz and Singler since September 2018, according to Jennifer Darby, an attorney representing Kevin Wentz.
Court proceedings were scheduled for December 20, with Singler and the children required to appear in person. However, a distress call to 911 preceded the court date.
What Exactly Happened?
The incident unfolded on December 19 at approximately 12:30 a.m., when police responded to a reported burglary at a residence on Palomino Ranch Point. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless bodies of the two children inside the home.
Singler, identified as the mother of all three children, was also found alongside an injured 11-year-old girl. Both were transported to the hospital.
Subsequent investigation revealed that the initial report of a burglary was baseless, and on December 26, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Singler.
Charges
The charges included four counts of first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, three counts of child abuse, and one count of first-degree assault.
Despite the tragic events, the police confirmed the safety and well-being of Singler’s 11-year-old daughter, who is currently under care in the Colorado Springs area.
Kevin Wentz’s attorney expressed gratitude to law enforcement agencies in the United States and the United Kingdom and expressed hope for Singler’s prompt extradition to Colorado.
“Kevin Wentz continues to hope for justice for his children Aden and Ellie. He prays for peace and healing for his surviving daughter,” remarked Jennifer Darby. The investigation in the case is currently ongoing.
Wentz and Singler filed for divorce in 2018 and have been in a contentious custody dispute ever since as as recently as this fall, Singler made various allegations against the children’s father. His attorney released a statement regarding the claims saying, “During the pendency of that custody case, Ms. Singler has made egregious allegations of child abuse and domestic violence against Kevin Wentz. Kevin Wentz has never committed an act of domestic violence or abuse against his ex-wife or his children. The repeated allegations that Ms. Singler made during the custody case were each made to coincide with Kevin’s parenting time. The Larimer County Court heard testimony related to each of the allegations and did not find them credible. The Court further found that Kevin was not a threat to the children.”
Plans for a private funeral for Aden and Elianna are underway, with a GoFundMe established to aid with funeral expenses and the care of the surviving child: Fundraiser by Erica Burkhardt: The Wentz Family.
