The cricketer’s official account began liking sensual images of popular actresses such as Mrunal Thakur, Janhvi Kapoor, and Divyansha Kaushik.
Although there has been no official confirmation regarding the hacking of Shivam Mavi’s X profile and the subsequent inappropriate activity, many speculated this based on his past behavior on social media platforms.
The most recent post on Mavi’s wall was a repost from Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Shukla concerning IPL selections. The post announced the selection of 11 players from the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association for different IPL franchises.
Who is Shivam Mavi?
For those unfamiliar with Shivam Mavi, born on November 26, 1998, he is an Indian international cricketer known for his role as a right-arm fast-medium bowler. Mavi made his international debut for the Indian cricket team in January 2023.
In the IPL 2024 Auction, Lucknow Super Giants acquired Shivam Mavi for ₹6.4 crore, addressing the gap left by Avesh Khan in the pace department.
Mavi’s IPL Career
It’s worth noting that Mavi was purchased by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2018 IPL auction and made his Twenty20 debut for them in April 2018. He gained attention during the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy by achieving a hat-trick for Uttar Pradesh against Saurashtra.
Mavi’s first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy showcased his talent, taking a four-wicket haul against Goa in Kanpur. In his second match against Odisha, he secured his maiden five-wicket haul.
In the 2018 IPL auction, he was once again bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders, marking his entry into the tournament. And now in 2023, he is acquired by Lucknow Super Giants.
