The ex-wife of singer Wang Leehom, Lee Jinglei has ended up banking NT$1.14 billion as part of her divorce settlement
Having first met when Lee Jinglei was just 16 and Wang Leehom was 26, both went onto get intertwined in marriage. However, it was one which never worked out with both recently revealing that they had decided it was time to call things quits with both deciding to get divorced.
Its been far from a cordial exit from the marriage with Lee Jinglei taking the world alight with her Instagram post. Lee went onto post a nine page intricate post on Instagram, one where she talked about how the singer had gone onto cheat on her with a raft of celebrities including Singapore’s BY2’s Yumi Bai along with also hiring prostitutes persistently.
Lee Jinglei To Take Home NT$1.14 Billion As Part Of Divorce Settlement With Ex-Husband Wang Leehom
Wang had replied to her, issuing a statement on his Weibo account, one where he apologised to Lee for his transgressions during the marriage and wrote, “I will transfer the house you’re living in to your name.”
The house that Wang was referring to is the Wujiang luxury condominium on Renai Road in Taipei’s Da’an District said to be worth NT$480 million. The final version of the divorce agreement between the two which was signed in 2020 also sees Lee get half of their house in Los Angeles and half of their stock investments along with RMB$210,000 (US$32,963) a month for living expenses.
The combined total value of the divorce settlement was at RMB$150 million, roughly equivalent to NT$660 million with the total amount Lee receiving now after getting the NT$480 million house being NT$1.14 billion, a third of Wang’s NT$3 billion net worth.
