Watch Second Mob Lynching In Punjab Sees Man Killed In Kapurthala After Amritsar, Gurdwara Says Due To Sacrilege While Police Denies

While the Gurudwara in Kapurthala has gone onto claim the mob lynching took place due to sacrilege, police have gone onto deny the claims as horrific video emerges

While the country was still trying to fathom the horrific manner in which a man was killed in Amritsar after sacrilege in the Golden Temple, another incident of mob lynching emanated from Punjab, this time in Kapurthala.

According to Amarjit Singh, caretaker of a Gurdwara in the Nizampur district of Kapurthala, a youth had gone onto disrespect the Nishan Sahib, the Sikh flag. Amarjit went onto detail how he saw the now deceased man desecrating the flag during early hours of Sunday morning with Singh claiming he had seen the youth do so at 4 am.

It is claimed the youth went back to hide into the Gurdwara before being caught by the managers as he was trying to flee the premises. Video footage has since surfaced on social media platforms of the horrific manner in which the mob lynched the youth and broke into the police station with swords, demanding instant justice.

However, the IG of Jalandhar has since gone onto refute any claims of sacrilege with him saying investigations had not shown any sign of damage.

“No visible sign of sacrilege at Gurdwara sahib;FIR registered u/s 295A. Info about attack on police, man killed being verified. If it appears to be murder then FIR to be registered accordingly,” IG Jalandhar said.

This is the third such incident to take place in a short time after Nihang Sikhs had previously chopped off a man during the farmer protests for allegedly disrespecting the Sikh holy book. While the slightest of disrespect to the religious books and sanctums of any religion in India draw instant crowd justice with disciples refusing to tolerate any kind of slander, Hindus are berated for standing up for their basic rights by left-leaning people.
