Priya Singh, a 26-year-old professional fitness and fashion influencer, found herself in a terrifying ordeal in Thane, Maharashtra. She was attacked brutally on Ovala Road in the Ghodbunder neighborhood of Thane, allegedly by her lover, Ashwajit Gaikwad, the son of a well-known Maharashtra official.

Priya sustained severe wounds, such as deep scratches all over her body, arm bruises, and a shattered leg. On Instagram, Priya courageously shared the harrowing details of the incident. She recounted a startling series of events in which she got into a violent altercation with Ashwajit at the Court Yard Hotel.
Priya Singh made a startling admission when she claimed that Ashwajit and his friends had targeted her on purpose. She claimed to have been abused, strangled, and the subject of a planned car assault. The awful incident occurred when Ashwajit allegedly attacked Priya and then proceeded to use his SUV to cause more injuries.
She explained that she was hit by the car next to a divider, and then it went over her right leg. Luckily, a bystander noticed the situation and reported it to the police. Ashwajit’s driver tried to intervene and then take Priya to a nearby hospital, but he left the scene after reportedly threatening the onlooker.
Since then, Priya Singh’s social media posts have quickly gained traction and brought attention to the claimed assault and abuse. It tagged prominent personalities such as Aditya Thackeray, PM Modi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Union Minister Smriti Irani.
In spite of the seriousness of the situation, Ashwajit Gaikwad and his associates are still at large since the Kasarvadavali Police Station has not yet made any arrests and only filed FIRs. 26 year old Priya Singh is a Maharashtra-based professional fitness and fashion influencer. She has been in the news because she was allegedly brutally attacked by her boyfriend, Ashwajit Gaikwad.
She is a resident of Waghbil, Thane West, Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is receiving treatment at a Thane private hospital right now. She has been in a relationship with Ashwajit Gaikwad, who lives in the Hiranandani complex in Thane West and is the son of a top Maharashtra bureaucrat. They have been in a relationship for four and a half years.
Around 4:30 a.m., Priya Singh was allegedly called by Ashwajit at the Courtyard Hotel in the Ovale neighborhood on Ghodbunder Road. When she arrived, there was a furious dispute that turned into claims of physical and verbal abuse directed at Singh by Ashwajit.
Unsettlingly, Ashwajit’s bodyguard and friends, Romil Patil, Prasad Patil, and Sagar Shelke, also joined in on the verbal abuse. As things became worse, Singh—who was bleeding from the fight—tried to get her stuff back from the Range Rover, where she and Ashwajit had been sitting. Sagar Shelke, the driver, is said to have made a horrifying effort to run the SUV over Singh, due to which she sustained severe injuries.
