Initially, instead of following the traditional group structure, these teams will be split into four groups of five members each. According to the event schedule, each team will play the other side once in a round-robin manner. The two squads who place first and second in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier 2023 will advance to the T20 World Cup 2024.
