We examine the ICC ODI Cricket World Cup all time awards winners list, including the golden bat and golden ball winners and the player of the tournament and man of the match final winners
After each ICC Cricket World Cup concludes, outstanding players receive recognition for their performances. At present, the tournament awards four accolades to deserving individuals. The ICC Golden Bat, introduced in 1975, acknowledges the top run-scorer. Meanwhile the ICC Golden Ball, inaugurated in the same year, honors the leading wicket-taker. Furthermore, the ICC Player of the Tournament award, first granted in 1992, recognizes outstanding performances throughout the entire tournament. Additionally, the ICC Player of the Match in the Final, established in 1975, acknowledges the exceptional player from the finals.

ICC Cricket World Cup awards list, all time winners, & most successful players
The ICC World Cup honors the highest run-scorer with the prestigious Golden Bat Award. Although run scorers were ranked in every World Cup, the inaugural presentation of the award occurred in 1975. India holds the unique distinction of producing players who have clinched the Golden Bat on four occasions—a record achieved by Sachin Tendulkar in 1996 and 2003, Rahul Dravid in 1999, and Rohit Sharma in 2019.
Similarly, the ICC World Cup recognizes the leading wicket-taker with the prestigious Golden Ball Award. Although wicket-taker rankings were present in every World Cup, the inaugural presentation of the award took place in 1975. In contrast to the race for the highest run-scorer, the accolade for the most wickets taken has frequently witnessed players jointly claiming the trophy. Only two spin bowlers have successfully secured a spot on this distinctive list.
