BKU leader Rakesh Tikait was greeted with animosity with player making their feelings of hate clear towards him as he reached the residence of CDS General Bipin Rawat
The last couple of years have seen a simple agenda against the incumbent Narendra Modi lead government. In a bid to dwindle the colossal popularity of the sitting BJP government in the country, the opposition has resorted to carrying out some of the violent protests in the country, ones spurred by some of the most bemusing bits of logic.
After the widespread mayhem and havoc wrecked in the land in the guise of the CAA protests, the narrative next shifted to the now repealed farmer bills. As the government tried to usher in an era of modernization and open markets to farmers across the country, a section in Punjab bellowed against the bills.

Where farmers across the country shunned the protests with them well-versed on the benefits of the bills, those in Punjab indulged in politically motivated protests. Borders leading to the capital, Delhi were blocked for a year with business suffocated on the highways as BKU leader, Rakesh Tikait lead protests continued to regress any kind of development in the agriculture sector.
While the protestors eventually got what they yearned for with the Indian government rolling back the bills, the public wasn’t so swayed. And the feeling of angst and furor at Rakesh Tikait was on full show as he decided to indulge in another stunt.
