On an episode of The Steam Room, Charles spoke on how he named his daughter, Christiana, after a mall in Delaware.
“She’s named after a mall, in fairness. There’s a Christiana Mall in Delaware that I always used to go by. That’s how she got her name, Christiana,” the ex-NBA player said.
On being further pressed by Ernie Johnson on why he had chosen that particular mall, Barkley just went onto add that he liked the mall.
“I don’t know, I just liked the mall,” Barkley said.
While Christiana Barkley is yet to open up on the entire statements by her father, it remains to be seen how she takes it. Given how Charles was cool about the entire scenario, it looks like Christiana is already in the knowhow of the entire story.
“Inside The NBA” has over the years gone onto become a massively watched show owing to comments like these from Charles who hasn’t been shy to bare intricate details of his life and lay them out in full public view.
Elsewhere, Julius Erving has gone onto mention how he met Samantha Stevenson with whom he had a relationship back in 1979 and had gone onto have ex-tennis player Alexandra with who he claimed was born as he couldn’t have oral sex.
