What Exactly Happened in Chapter 154
Navier and Heinley hold a conference with the nobles in the previous chapter of Remarried Empress, but problems keep piling up. The nobles want Heinley to go to war over White Monde since that is the most pressing issue.
Seeing them relax in luxury when thousands of people lose loved ones and livelihoods is sad. Navier, too, is aware of the truth, but she keeps quiet about it. At least until a new problem arises. The upper class now claims that Soveishu cast out Navier because she could not produce a legitimate heir.
Someone is spreading these rumors, and Navier suspects Marquis Catron is behind it. For some reason, this individual’s behavior has been hostile and dishonest toward Navier.
