60-year-old TA Krishnan was ill for a long time and he took his last breath on October 18. The exact cause behind his passing is not revealed by his family.
TA Krishnan was 60 years old in 2023. He shared two kids, a son and a daughter with his wife whose name is not known. Krishnan’s educational background is not known.
TA Krishnan career
Together with Manju Dhawan, K Satyanarayana, and Sanjeev Saxena, TA Krishnan co-founded Ecom Express in 2012. He had also held the position of chief operational officer for the business.
He was a senior vice president of Blue Dart Express Ltd. before founding Ecom Express, where he played a key role in building the business’s e-commerce division. Krishnan is credited by the company as being a pioneer in the Indian logistics sector for inventing the cash-on-delivery function. First-mile pickup, processing, network optimization, and last-mile delivery are all handled by Ecom Express.
His company announced his passing by writing “Each one of us at Ecom Express feels truly privileged to have worked with TA Krishnan, the force behind the growth and evolution of the e-commerce logistics industry.”
They further added, “His vision enabled e-commerce to bloom in every town of India–small or big, making parcels delivered at doorsteps of every Indian household.”

According to Tracxn, the company which had more than 50,000 employees as of June 30 reported losses of Rs 91.4 crore for FY22 but the net worth of TA Krishnan isn’t known.
