Ikram Alikhil is an upcoming professional cricketer from Afghanistan who was born on 29 September 2000 in Kabul, Afghanistan. He made his international debut for the Afghanistan national cricket team back in March 2019 and has since featured regularly.
He is unmarried and single and the names of his parents aren’t known.

Just recently, the young wicketkeeper scored an impressive knock 58 runs to help his side beat England in their third match of the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Aside from keeping wickets during the match, the youngster managed to score a much-needed innings for Afghanistan. During the match, Alikhil came on to replace Najibullah Zadran, to play his first-ever World Cup match against England. While batting at six, Alikhil scored 58 runs off 66 balls, including three fours and two sixes.

Alikhil made his ODI debut back in March 2019 during a match against Ireland. He then debuted in the Test format in the same month. Later that same year on 6 June 2019, Alikhil joined the Afghanistan squad for the 2019 edition of the Cricket World Cup. Alikhil reportedly came as a replacement for Mohammad Shahzad, who was ruled out due to a knee injury.
Alikhil played his first match in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in the last match against England, where he managed to score a fifty. Ever since his debut, Alikhil has played one Test match and 14 ODI matches so far. Although he has scored only seven runs in his Test match, he has managed to score an impressive 296 runs in the 50-over format. His highest score was 86 runs.
