2023 Asian Games results, best performers, and medal winners
Up to this point, India has secured a total of 35 medals at the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou. These achievements encompass nine gold medals, 13 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals. The Indian delegation’s impressive medal tally in Hangzhou has been primarily propelled by their shooters, who have clinched 19 medals in various events. Within this remarkable feat, the shooters have amassed six gold medals, eight silver medals, and five bronze medals. Furthermore, India’s other three gold medals have been achieved in women’s cricket, equestrian sports, and tennis.
Indian athletes have excelled in various shooting events during the Games, and several of them have achieved multiple medals. Esha Singh, the talented pistol shooter, stands out with an impressive haul of four medals, including one gold and three silver. Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar has also showcased his prowess, securing a total of four medals, comprising two gold, one silver, and one bronze. Meanwhile, Ashi Chouksey, a skilled rifle shooter, has clinched three medals, consisting of two silver and one bronze.
