Notably, the 2024 Bangladesh Premier League, which is also referred to as BPL Season 10, marks the tenth installment of Bangladesh’s premier professional Twenty20 cricket league. In July 2022, the International Cricket Council (ICC) included the months of January and February in its Future Tours Programme to accommodate this league. Subsequently, the BCB unveiled the forthcoming schedules for the BPL spanning the next three seasons.

2024 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) draft results and confirmed squads
The forthcoming 2024 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), set to kick off in January of the upcoming year, promises to feature a wealth of international luminaries alongside a plethora of homegrown talents. In recent days, the participating teams have been actively securing players from various corners of the globe. This past Sunday, the player draft for the tournament took place in Dhaka.
Prior to the draft, Rangpur Riders secured the services of Shakib Al Hasan, Babar Azam, and Wanindu Hasaranga, whereas Fortune Barishal inked deals with Tamim Iqbal and Shoaib Malik.
