Arsenal’s Gabriel Magalhaes has in no mood to be mugged with him picking a fight up with the baseball bat wielding hoodlums as seen in the security footage
Video footage which has emerged of an attempted robbery on Arsenal’s CB Gabriel Magalhaes shows the defender showing immense fortitude in the face of adversary. The defender refused to be deterred by the miscreants who were wielding baseball bats and demanded the footballer handed over his car keys and watch to them with him involved in a scuffle with them.

Shocking CCTV footage showed the hooded robber, Abderaham Muse, lunge at the Brazilian with his bat with Gabriel catching him in the face with a resounding blow. Gabriel then went onto grab his hat before the thief managed to escape and escape from the vicinity along with his accomplice.

Both were seen running past their third member who was ensuring the electronic gates outside the home remained open. The entire set of events have seen the defender be lauded for his grit and pluck with manager Mikel Arteta also showering his player with plaudits.
He said: “It’s not a nice thing to go through when you have family involved. Gabi showed a lot of character. Credit to the boy.
“After that he was fine, obviously he was shocked. The club have given him the support to try and move on from the situation.”
This isn’t the first time an Arsenal player has taken on thieves. Ex-Arsenal player Sead Kolasinac was previously captured fighting off armed robbers who attacked him and Mesut Ozil with knives.
While Ozil was seen deserting the his counterpart as he drove away, Kolasinac stood his ground to ensure the safety of everyone.
