It is to be noted that the Asian Games in 2023 will also serve as a qualifying event for the sailing competitions at the Olympics in Paris in 2024. Quotas will be available for the competing nations in the men’s and women’s single categories of windsurfing, dinghy, and kiteboarding.
The sailing competitions will start on September 21 in Ningbo Xiangshan Sailing Centre, while the Asian Games begin on September 23. On September 27, the sailing competitions will come to an end, one of the competitions in which India has staked a medal claim.
