Omowuni, MohBad’s wife, has used social media to express her sorrow over her husband’s tragic death. She shared her sorrow in a series of Instagram stories while also asserting that her spouse had “always lived with fears.”
According to reports, the 27-year-old Nigerian Afrobeats singer MohBad has passed away. MohBad had a recording contract with Naira Marley’s Marlian Records up to 2022. His best-known songs are Peace, Ask About Me, and Pariwo.
The Death Of MohBad Was Confirmed On Social Media
His management company released an official statement on social media informing the public of his tragic demise.
On Tuesday night, music executive Ovie tweeted the tragic news with the message “Confirmed. MohBad is no more. A really sad day. R.I.P.”
Later, a message was published on MohBad’s Instagram page. It stated: “We certify the passing of Promise Oladimeji Aloba PK/A MohBadtoday, September 12, 2023, with the utmost grief. The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers as they mourn the loss of the bright talent that MohBad symbolised.”
MohBad’s Wife Laments The Loss Of Her Husband
Wunmi, also known as Omowuni, is the wife of MohBad, and the two of them have a little boy. Wunmi has used social media to convey her sorrow following her husband’s terrible death and to detail her efforts to keep him alive.
She wrote, “We had a lot of plans. The two responsibilities have been combined into one. My life depended on you. Ilerioluwa, I tried to convince you to stay, but I don’t want anyone to experience this kind of suffering.”
Wunmi lamented the fact that their five-month-old son Liam “would only grow to know his father through the internet” when he was younger. She also remembered how MohBad had made her pregnancy so simple.
According to Omowuni, her late spouse “always lived with fears” and “struggled till death.”
Omowuni Opens Up About Her Husband Fear
She added, “He struggled until death, too many pains, threatening, he has always lived in fear, continuous fights everywhere he goes, he has never been happy for a whole day. He was called a junkie, a madman, and a person with mental issues so that the public would have another view of him.” Take your prize; at least he’s dead and you all won. At the age of 24, you all made me a widow.”
Omowuni added that MohBad wanted her to leave the country and was concerned about her. She was scheduled to pick up her kid’s passport yesterday so that she could begin her travels.
She remembered him saying, “Nothing makes him happy any more, Even after seeing his baby he became more scared. He is now a family man and he doesn’t want anything to happen to us. Wunmi, please leave for the sake of my kid; if they hurt you or him, I’ll be broken; Leave so I can deal with them on my own.”
