Once she realised the trams wouldn’t be arriving because of how late it was, May started to appear apprehensive. May instructed the man to follow her after realising they were going in the same direction.

The man who approached May was also waiting for the tram and he inquired about the tram routes. Meanwhile, he wrapped his arm around her as they continued walking and said “Thank you”. However, May started hesitating and requested not to hold her arm and tried to push him away with an “Okay, okay” and a plainly uneasy expression.

Later, the man approached her arm and asked her to come with him while attempting to yank her back. The man forced May into a corner as they entered the station. Then the man held her by the waist and chest and kissed her on the head. May was seen shouting out, “I’m not alone!” at this point.

The viral incident video was uploaded to r/HongKong. May reportedly said she was afraid the offender would track her down through her livestreams and “get revenge” on her, which was why she did not want to report the incident to the police, according to the original user u/EbenezerNdipnchot. On r/HongKong, a number of users looked for more details in order to submit an e-police report on May’s behalf.
