According to organizing committee reports, the 2019 Rugby World Cup attracted more than 857 Million spectators, which was more than all the previous editions of this prestigious event. Notably, around 55 Million Japanese fans watched the event, as the host nation defeated Scotland to qualify for their maiden quarterfinal.
