East Delhi Premier League 2021 Update: Registration, Trials, Prize Money, Dates, Teams, Live Streaming

The East Delhi Premier League cricket tournament, which begins on November 30, 2021 will pit ten teams from East Delhi’s Vidhan Sabha against each other, know about it

The tournament promises to give East Delhi’s up-and-coming talent, particularly those from low-income families, a chance to shine. It would also allow Delhi residents to enjoy day and night matches at the freshly renovated Yamuna sports complex.

On Thursday, former India cricketer and MP Gautam Gambhir unveiled the grand trophy and the teams to their owners at the East Delhi Premier League’s inauguration ceremony. The team uniforms were also unveiled.

East Delhi Premier League Prize Money

Yamuna Sports Complex is hosting an event of this magnitude for the first time. The winning team will receive a monetary award of Rs 30 lakh, while the runner-up will receive Rs 20 lakh.

“This event is for all East Delhi players who have been unable to demonstrate their abilities owing to a lack of facilities and resources. During my campaign, I pledged to provide sophisticated sports facilities to East Delhi, and I am glad to say that we have been able to deliver,” said Gambhir.

East Delhi Premier League 2021 Update: Trials, Registration And Teams

Every player who has enrolled for the competition will participate in trials. Nothing counts more than your talent, regardless of your history, gear, or equipment. This is the common man’s league.

The event will provide an opportunity for participants aged 17 to 36 to show off their skills.

The East Delhi Premier League will most likely be broadcast on YouTube and through an app that is currently being developed for the competition.
