Alas went on to say that Phos gave off a perfume that was distinct from human beings’ but would ultimately dissipate. Phos said he wanted to get rid of everything that could hurt his family.
Phos was worried, but Alas couldn’t pinpoint anything that was causing him pain. With Alas’ help, Phos wondered why he still couldn’t kill himself. Alas asked if Phos wanted to try it again, offering his assistance. Phos said that he wanted that to happen as well. The other Lunarians there recommended that Alas get off on Phos’s chest.
