UFC 292 full fight card winner and results

O’Malley faceplanted Aljamain Sterling with a devastating counter right hand early in the second round of the UFC 292 main event, which was his first try to win a title since joining the organization through Dana White’s Contender Series. Although Sterling tried to avoid the barrage of attacks by O’Malley, he wasn’t able to do so and referee Marc Goddard had to stop the fight after considering Sterling’s desperate situation. Just 51 seconds into the second round, the fight was over, and O’Malley exulted as the new bantamweight division champion. O’Malley later said that despite feeling under pressure, he still managed to put up another incredible performance.

In the UFC 292 main event, Zhang Weili upset Amanda Lemos by majority decision after dishing out a brutal thrashing over five rounds. Notably, Zhang managed to gather 288 strikes over the course of five-rounds compared to her opponent’s count of 21 strikes and unsurprisingly, this is the biggest differential in a women’s UFC fight. By winning this fight, Zhang managed to retain her strawweight title.
