The Introduction of a riveting advertising trailer for “Kaiju No. 8” has heightened interest in the film. The video depicts Kafka, the film’s most recognized monster, come to life with astounding accuracy.
The trailer was shown in Japan before of a major anime convention, and it included an actor disguised as Kafka, complete with a makeover and special effects to make viewers feel terrified. The anime event hosted by Production I.G. will provide new details about the highly anticipated show.
The long-awaited “Kaiju No. 8” anime will finally air in April 2024, and fans can’t wait. Kaiju No. 8 continues to garner popularity among kaiju aficionados due to its thrilling plot and unique perspective on the subgenre.
Production I.G. Animation will be in charge of anime production, and Studio Khara will oversee the creation of designs and artwork.
The first three members of the voice cast were confirmed as well with Masaya Fukunishi as Kafka Hibino (and the titular Kaiju No. 8), Wataru Katoh as Reno Ichikawa, and Asami Seto as Mina Ashiro.
To read “Kaiju No. 8,” get the Shonen Jump app or one of the print magazines published by Viz Media. Kafka Hibino is the work’s protagonist; he longs to join the Japan Defense Force and fight the fearsome kaiju. But then things take an unusual turn when he begins to mutate into a kaiju himself.

Beginning with chapter 90 of Kaiju No. 8, Konomi Okonogi convinces herself that Hoshina, the Defense Force’s strongest melee fighter, is unbeatable. Meanwhile, Hoshina continued her attack on Kaiju No. 12, eventually reaching the monster’s main organs. However, No. 12 was discovered to be concealing its vitals elsewhere.
When Hoshina realized this, he immediately started slicing at No. 12 in an attempt to reach the core, which he eventually achieved in the neck. In defending himself against a blow from Hoshina, No. 12 snapped another of the swordsman’s blades. Hoshina drew a second sword and executed a simultaneous double attack on number 12.
Hoshina was going to overheat after 12 minutes of full power while Okonogi pondered Hoshina’s origins.
