What Exactly Happened in Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 169
Vedas, India’s ambassador, approached Dokja in the previous chapter. Dokja, however, turned down Vedas’ offer because of his superior attitude. As a result of this interaction, the man who slashed his own eyes shows up, but it soon becomes apparent that he is not there to join Dokja. Instead, he proposes a celebration he calls the “Lighting Carnival,” which honors one of the three gods, Zeus. Dokja asks the man about the offer out of curiosity, but he disappears without explaining anything.
What To Expect
The author promises a more in-depth introduction to the “Lighting Carnival” in this chapter. The man who stabbed himself in the eyes says the three goddesses have captured Dokja’s fate, but he doesn’t provide any other details before leaving. Then Uriel, the so-called “Master of Ark,” will come rushing in, delighted to see Dokja again. She cautions him against joining Eden because doing so could have negative consequences for him and his story.
Spoilers abound in the subsequent chapters. It turns out that Dokja isn’t interested in joining any of the existing constellations, so he’s going to make his own and call it “Nebula.” This occurs considerably later in the story, after he has already become the demon king. Dokja also begins to suspect Yoo Joonghyuk I of being the plotter behind the scenes.
