According to police accounts, after Nitin retreated to his room around 10 pm the previous night, he remained unusually secluded. Also concern grew as morning light broke, leading to the staff at his residence attempting to check on him. However, after persistent knocking yielded no response, the room was forced open, unveiling the tragic scene.

Raigad SP, upon reaching the site, stated, “We have found the body of art director Nitin Desai hanging in his studio in Karjat. A studio worker informed the police about the situation. Our investigations continue to explore all aspects surrounding this unfortunate incident.”
