Her head coach is UFC veteran Paddy Holohan, and one of her primary sponsors is Conor McGregor. McGregor even hosted a watch party for Bannon’s bout with Bruna Brasil at his Black Forge Inn restaurant in Dublin. Bannon, as per mmafighting.com said:

Bannon, a longtime martial artist with experience in kickboxing and taekwondo, enters her UFC debut with a flawless 5-0 professional record, highlighted by two victories under the Invicta FC banner. In her most recent match, she won by unanimous decision over Minna Grusander, who had twice challenged for the Invicta FC title.
When McGregor and the initial group of Irish UFC athletes led a revolution for the nation’s mixed martial arts industry, Bannon, now 29, was still a youngster. A significant contributor to that wave was her coach, Holohan, who participated five times in the UFC between 2014 and 2015, winning a notable first-round choke victory against Josh Sampo at the notorious UFC Dublin event in 2014.
Bannon is currently the first member of Holohan’s gym to make it to the UFC.
