Television footage reveals a visibly emaciated Timothy Lyndsay, his grey beard grown wild, conversing with police about his astonishing rescue. Bella, the sailor’s faithful companion, appears in good spirits despite the ordeal, wagging her tail amidst the chaotic scene on the catamaran.

Before being rescued, Timothy Lyndsay described enduring a grueling situation, having gone without substantial food for a “long time.” Now safely aboard the trawler, he is gradually reintroducing small meals, showing signs of recovery as he converses energetically with the crew.
The sailor managed to evade severe illnesses or injuries during his time stranded in the Pacific. He also successfully avoided sunburn by taking refuge under a canopy on his ship. On board the trawler, a specialist doctor compared Shaddock’s condition to the character portrayed by Tom Hanks in the film “Castaway.”

The tuna boat, captained by Oscar Meza Oregon, is now slowly making its way towards Mexico, where Timothy Lyndsay will continue receiving medical attention. The boat is expected to arrive at the Pacific coast port of Manzanillo with Shaddock and Bella on board.
