The conflict on Hachinosu Island continues in Chapter 1087, with Garp fighting against the Blackbeard Pirates, who include Aokiji, Garp’s old apprentice. The chapter’s pace was pleasant and leisurely, and we learned more about Gapr and Aokiji’s connection.

Furthermore, for the first time in the chapter, Garp revealed that Monkey D Dragon is truly his son. Never before in the story of One Piece has Garp referred to Dragon as his son, leading many fans to speculate that Dragon was actually Garp’s son-in-law.
Chapter 1087 is titled “Battleship Bags,” and it opens with a scrapyard of the Navy installation where the marines discover that the ships have been used as punching bags, and to their amazement, Garp has been hitting a ship once every day since he began training. Another mark, however, is supposed to be Aokiji’s because he trained alongside Garp.
Returning to the current situation on Pirate Island, Garp has launched Wolf into the water. The Black Beard Pirates’ Jack-o-lantern is similarly eager to battle Garp and attempts to burn him. Garp, on the other hand, uses pirates to put out the fire.
The action then shifts to Hachinosu, also known as “Pirate Island,” where Garp is still confronted by Blackbeard Pirates. San Juan Wolf is in the sea as a result of Garp’s actions. We don’t know how Garp achieved it; all we know is that San Juan Wolf is now submerged. Wolf is about to drown, so Blackbeard’s soldiers attempt to save him.
Vasco Shot’s Heavy Drinker: Furnace Flame move causes him to spit fire at Garp. He thwarts the raid by concealing the bodies of Blackbeard’s pirates. He then sets fire to the bodies and throws them around, igniting the town. This technique is known as “Pirate Fireballs” by Garp.
Koby witnesses a pirate beating up a woman and attempts to assist her. When Koby tries to assist her, he discovers that they have duped him since the woman is also a pirate.
